Najjar Performing Arts Academy exists to transform theatre from an art form into a life skill, empowering individuals of all ages to build presence, empathy, and emotional intelligence through performance-based training.

We equip people not just to perform on stage, but to communicate with confidence, lead with authenticity, and navigate life with greater awareness, expression, and human connection, carrying forward a legacy where theatre becomes a tool for personal and collective growth.

Kids & TEENS

FOR KIDS

We don't teach theatre to create stars. We teach theatre to help young people shine in life. Through acting, storytelling, improvisation, and creative expression, children develop confidence, empathy, communication skills, leadership, and resilience... essential life skills that stay with them long after the curtain falls.

FOR TEENS

During school breaks and also throughout the year, we offer Teen Bootcamps and classes that go beyond acting to explore public speaking, storytelling, scriptwriting, improvisation, and other valuable creative and communication skills. Designed as intensive, hands-on experiences, these classes and bootcamps help teenagers build confidence, express themselves, and discover new talents.

Camps and BootCamps

Unlike traditional camps that focus primarily on keeping children busy, our Theatre Camps are built around a structured educational journey. Each week has clearly defined learning objectives, while every day follows a carefully designed program with specific activities and outcomes. From creativity and communication to teamwork, confidence, and performance skills, every hour serves a purpose. Parents can review the full weekly objectives and detailed daily schedule to understand exactly what their children will be learning and experiencing throughout the camps.

Lama Najjar is an actress, educator, and youth development specialist who has spent her career helping children and teenagers grow in confidence, creativity, and self-expression through theatre.

Lama Najjar is an actress, educator, and youth development specialist who has spent her career helping children and teenagers grow in confidence, creativity, and self-expression through theatre.

After studying Political Science at the American University of Beirut and Drama at the University of California, Irvine, Lama built a career spanning television, theatre, advertising, and education. For more than a decade, she has taught Drama at Brummana High School, specializing in IB and A Level Drama, while mentoring hundreds of students through their artistic and personal development journeys.

At Najjar Academy, Lama focuses on programs for children and teens, using theatre as a powerful tool to develop communication skills, emotional intelligence, confidence, teamwork, and creative thinking. Her philosophy is simple: theatre is not only about creating performers—it is about helping young people discover who they are and who they can become.

Jana Al Hassanieh

Jana Al Hassanieh is an actress, theatre educator, and performer with over five years of experience using the performing arts to inspire confidence, creativity, and self-expression in children and young people. A graduate of the Lebanese University’s Faculty of Fine Arts and Cinema, she specializes in acting, creative drama, movement, voice, and storytelling. Alongside teaching theatre across leading schools in Lebanon, Jana is an accomplished stage performer and entertainment leader, bringing energy, imagination, and a deep passion for the arts to every class she leads.
